I’m happy to announce the birth of a new book!
Every Drop Counts: Exploring Water Science with Young Children in a Changing Climate will be published this fall with Gryphon House.
The book provides early childhood educators with inspiration, ideas, resources, and background knowledge for teaching young children about the fascinating science of water. The activities cover concepts related to the physical characteristics and properties of water, hydrology, civil engineering, environmental science, and more.
One of the joys of working on this book has been the opportunity to collaborate with water scientist Alexa Yeo, who serves as content expert as well as the author of special features including a section in each chapter titled “Ask a Water Scientist.”
